	At Digestive CARE, you may receive Nutritional counseling for a variety of medically related ailments including, but not limited to:

A counseling session typically consists of a nutrition assessment and the development of a personalized, individually tailored dietary plan which may include sample meals, recipes and/or food lists to fit your lifestyle. Our Registered Dietitian places emphasis on the behavioral approach which supports lifestyle changes for success and your overall well being.

Typically, the Dietitian will schedule visits with patients on a monthly or bi-monthly basis to give adequate time to implement your personalized plan. These visits are important to determine the success of your personalized plan and allow our Registered Dietitian and Digestive CARE physicians to make alterations or modifications which will lead you on the path toward healthy living and overall better health.

INSURANCE

Recent changes in health care, including the 2010 health care reform act, provide for Nutritional Services coverage under most insurance plans. Your insurance plan may have limitations to the number of visits you may obtain for Nutritional Services. Our offices can help you understand if your insurance offers Nutritional Services coverage under your benefit plan and what your costs, if any, will be for these services.
